With our latest firmware upgrade, we've introduced a new, simple method to identify the ID number of your SeaTrac beacons.
Step One
Power up the beacon and wait for a 2-second green flash, this just indicates the start of the sequence and isn't included in the count.
Step Two
Count the flashes that follow the 2-second initial green flash. A green flash has a value of one, an orange flash has a value of ten.
Step Three
Look out for a 2-second pause, this indicates the end of the sequence and will be followed by the initial green flash as the sequence repeats.
